Welcome to the home of the Potomac Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a Chapter filled with over one hundred dynamic, dedicated, hardworking, motivated and empowering women living the legacy of our Founders. We have much to be proud of as a small and mighty powerhouse of Sorors committed to the ideals of our sisterhood and the work of our Founders.
We stand on the shoulders of our Founders, moving forward to address the needs of our communities with Fortitude in the forefront reaching far into the distance. We must continue the community collaborations and provide exemplary service to our citizens.
We will continue forging our objective to advance academic excellence through public service with the tenacity of the illustrious 22 courageous, determined, and visionary Founders of our great sisterhood. Serving the community with the exemplary Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement are our goals.
The Sorors of the Potomac Valley Alumnae Chapter received the Embracing the Commitment “Financial Fortitude" Chapter Award at the 46th Eastern Regional Conference in Hartford, CT.
