On behalf of our more than 200 dynamic and devastating, hard-working and committed Chapter members, I am happy to welcome you to the official website of the Potomac Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. As our Chapter’s 15th President, I am honored to lead the Chapter as we embark on another year of sisterhood, scholarship, and service, and I am humbled by the degree of commitment PVAC sorors have for completing the tasks before us. Since its chartering on April 27, 1985, Potomac Valley Alumnae Chapter has continued to uphold the vision, wisdom, and courage of our 22 trailblazing Founders and our 28 dynamic Charter Members as we seek to elevate the lives and life experiences of the citizens of Western Montgomery County, Maryland. CCI Health Services, in partnership with the Potomac Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated invites Montgomery County residents to attend a FREE presentation and workshop on cervical cancer in honor of #CervicalCancerAwarenessMonth. CCI’s team of clinicians will walk attendees through the most effective ways to prevent cervical cancer in a collaborative and nonjudgmental environment. We encourage you to bring your daughters and nieces to the event to help them learn more about their bodies and start the conversation about what to expect before their first Pap smear & HPV vaccine.
